Project:
Gaurab worked on application development and management - developed, maintained and enhanced back-office system of trading platform that supports world wide derivatives trading business of JP Morgan Chase (JPMC). This system takes care of post-trade straight through processing (STP) for clearing and settlement of various derivative products of JPMC.
Role:
As Application Architect / Manager, Gaurab headed application development and management of technical framework / platform of back-office system. He delivered quarterly releases of the framework / platform by taking care of all aspects of full life cycle project management and end-to-end technical leadership - hands-on analysis, architecture, design and development following Agile / Scrum.
Achievement:
JP Morgan Chase (Client) Development Manager appreciated Gaurab's leadership skill as robust in handling any kind of challenges in managing the derivatives trading platform. 
Bank of Ireland - Ireland
 
Project:
Gaurab worked on application development and management - developed and enhanced banking application that supports core / retail banking and credit card business of Bank of Ireland.
Role:
As Technical Architect / Manager, Gaurab headed technical delivery of enhanced application. Gaurab grasped technical framework of the application, conducted requirement analysis with client and architected enhanced application; delivered enhanced application by taking care of all aspects of technical leadership / management - hands-on analysis, architecture, design, development and SIT followed by UAT support.
Achievement:
Project Manager had appreciated Gaurab's technical leadership skill as instrumental in successfully delivering the project.
Amalgamated Banks of South Africa (ABSA) - Johannesburg, South Africa - largest bank in South Africa
 
Project:
Gaurab worked on application development and management - developed, maintained and enhanced HOGAN, which is integrated banking application that supports core / retail banking and debit / credit / charge card business of ABSA Bank, Johannesburg - the largest bank in South Africa.
Role:
Gaurab grasped technical and functional framework of HOGAN and worked on requirement analysis, design, build, SIT, regression test and UAT support of HOGAN that supports following processes - Integrated Deposit System (IDS), Integrated Loan Processing (ILP), Customer Information System (CIS), Card And Merchant System (CAMS), etc.  
Achievement:
TCS on-site Account Manager had attributed Gaurab's grasping ability of technical and functional framework of HOGAN as instrumental in successful delivery of project from off-shore.
California State Government Welfare System - California, USA
 
Project:
Gaurab worked on development of California State Government Welfare System (CalWIN) that supports major processing functions of Welfare Client Data System (WCDS) Consortium, which is an association of 18 California counties that administer services for over 40% of state’s public assistance caseload.
Role:
Gaurab developed application server on Tuxedo platform that interacts with back-end Oracle database to serve front-end client request.
 
Gaurab developed C/C++ and COBOL code generators out of pseudo codes using Lex/Yacc; out of these generated codes he developed Tuxedo services, business server modules and data access modules that interact with back-end Oracle database server. He integrated Tuxedo services, business modules, data access modules and built application server on Tuxedo.  
BHP Billiton - Australia / Singapore - World's Largest Natural Resources provider
 
Project:
Gaurab worked on application development and management - development and 24x7 production support of IT enterprise system that supports world wide natural resources business of BHP Billiton.
Role:
As Problem Manager, Gaurab worked on system stabilization program, where he was heavily involved in cross functional interaction with incident management team, application management teams, vendors, client and end-users spread across the globe - Americas, Europe Middle East Africa (EMEA), Asia and Australia; delivered Post Incident Review (PIR), Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Incident Trend Analysis; driven end-to-end Continuous Service Improvement (CSI) program to stabilize the system.
Achievement:
System was stabilized in around two years time frame; incident influx was reduced by 50%.
